Joe Linehan spent the 1990s in Chicago’s improv scene before taking a 25-year detour to teach middle school in Chicago Public Schools, where he learned to win over a tough audience. Now back onstage, he brings a calmly skewed logic to stand-up. Across his comedy career, he has performed at The Lincoln Lodge and The Second City. He also created faux Congressman Jack Kimble, whose political satire has fooled everyone from The Washington Post to CNN and built a social-media audience of more than 200,000, including some of the legends of American comedy.
